Camera teleprompter rental in Vancouver, BC
A prompter mounted in front of the lens, so your speaker reads the script while looking straight at the viewer. $700 for a half day and $1,100 for a full day, with an operator running it.
Fewer takes, better eye contact
A speaker working from memory or from notes beside the camera looks away, loses the thread and starts again. With the script in front of the lens they hold eye contact and get it in one or two takes.
The operator matches the scroll to the speaker, so a slow reader and a fast one are equally comfortable.

Questions about camera teleprompters
Will viewers be able to tell the speaker is reading?
With a screen sized for the distance and an operator matching the speaker's pace, eye movement is slight and the delivery sounds natural. A short rehearsal makes the biggest difference.
How long does a script take to read?
Most people speak at roughly 130 to 150 words a minute, so a 5 minute message is about 650 to 750 words.
Do you supply the camera crew?
The booking covers the prompter and its operator, working alongside your video crew.
What does our crew need to tell you?
The camera and lens, the distance from camera to speaker, and whether the camera is on a tripod, a pedestal or a gimbal.
